Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer £5.65 flat rate shipping to the UK. We use DPD as the currier. All services are fully tracked. We do not use Royal Mail for domestic or international shipping unless it's a UK return.

Local delivery.

We do not offer local delivery.

In-store pickup.

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at from our office address: Forstner Bands UK, 5 Victoria Avenue, Suite 102, Harrogate, HG1 1EQ. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am until 11:30am on weekdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping.

We offer international shipping to the following countries: All European Union countries, Iceland, Ireland, Asia, Australia, New Zealand plus many more.

At this time, we do not ship to the following: USA, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Caribbean, Africa, Syria and other parts forming the Middle East. This is in part due to currier stipulations and our distributor agreement.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Included in these is the international customs clearance fee. This is the fee I have to pay to clear your item through customs in order for it to be delivered to you.

International Customs, VAT and Duties.

Please be aware that customs fees, VAT and Duties may be payable upon/before delivery. Forstner Bands UK accepts no responsibility for these. Each country sets their own rates, please check with your customs authority in your country.

We do collect taxes on items under 150EUR on the IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) scheme for EU customers, these are paid on your behalf. We do not collect duties however, these are the responsibility of the buyer if they are charged on orders under 150EUR.

Orders over 150EUR.

Duties and taxes must be paid upon import. We have no control over these charges. We cannot refund these if you return an item either as we have not collected the taxes. Please contact your countries customs and revenue to reclaim these.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@forstnerbands.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We do allow shipping to P.O Boxes in the UK.

Delays in delivery.

This can occur when taxes are due on import. Please check your email inbox/junk folders. The currier will notify you of the cost of these. Once these are paid your item will be delivered.

We cannot be held responsible for returns back to us for none payment of taxes. You are entitled to a refund of the item but we do not refund the shipping costs.

We cannot also be held responsible for delays due to world events, inclement weather.
